Maybe something dark, something mysterious, something like a Moray Eel.
The Eel awaits...
An eagle would be cool, but it depends on whether I'm trying to do the superhero thing or the vigilante thing. For the vigilante thing, you need something darker.
The Raven? Hmm... been done.
The Owl? Doesn't sound right.
Thw black widow has potential. The praying mantis could work...as could the jaguar or the panther.
Heck, I don't know. I'm king of partial to the Shadow and the Punisher, and they just go out as themselves.
The Sponge slipped out of the darkness into the light, his porous surface striking fear into the heart of his victim...
Sorry, doesn't work for me. All I can conjure is an image of SPongebob Squarepants in a Batman suit.
