'08 Watch: Romney and the War on Terror
So, is Mitt Romney starting to flesh out his foreign policy positions?
From Andrew McCarthy in National Review Online:
Gov. Romney suggested that in the ongoing war, we ought to be investigating mosques that preach Islamic militancy and the young men who come to this country from rogue precincts of the Islamic world.Just thought you'd want to see it.
For giving voice to such a notion, Romney's comeuppance is to have the usual suspects screaming for an apology.

Sounds like a good political strategy to me. None of the usual crowd is going to remotely support Romney anyway, and it sends a message to security minded folks that he's willing to stand tough.
