Blatant plagiarism.

Stolen from Tyler Farrer's blog.

A bunch of scientist were asked the question, "If you could teach the world just one thing..." Here are the responses. There are far too many for one person to view in just one sitting, so what are your favorites?

It's all good. I plagiarised it from Boingboing

I find it interesting that one of the most common is simply - teach the scientific method.

And I have to agree. Without its proper application, no conclusion is meaningful.

Truly insightful. It's amazing how introverted some "scientists" actually are. Try finishing the question posed with some of the answers: "If you could teach the world just one thing, I would teach them [the periodic table]." Fascinating. I actually learned the periodic table and the world seemed so much clearer. Suddenly my life had meaning.

But more disturbing is one of the most common answers, evolution. In my opinion evolution is religion unto itself. Let's label these people for what they are...preachers. I personally choose not to believe. And really, if I could teach the world something it would not be something trivial like evolution that has zero relevance to everyday living.
