I don't know if that's is noteworthy or not.

India will not get veto power even if it gets a seat in an expanded UN Security Council. The unambiguous words came from none other than the man who heads the world body — secretary-general Kofi Annan.

First of all, "unambiguous" and "UN" don't belong in the same sentence.

Second, what's the point of being a permanent member if you have no veto power. India has become the world's most populous democracy, and wants to be regarded as a power to reckon with. This won't satisfy them.
